Free awareness seminars delivered to schools and colleges, equipping students to recognise, resist and report cyberbullying, including emerging AI-enabled harms such as deepfakes and sextortion. Each session pairs an awareness talk with digital safety guidance and an anonymous student survey.

An initiative to make mathematics accessible and engaging for students, with a particular focus on regional and underserved communities. Building on experience with free mathematics programmes and student competitions through SWAS, the programme works to promote mathematical confidence, identify student potential, and widen pathways into STEM education and higher study.

Federated learning and differential privacy techniques that allow clinically useful models to be trained across institutions without centralising sensitive patient data, balancing analytical utility against privacy guarantees.

Building trusted, openly documented datasets and evaluation infrastructure so that AI results published by the centre and its collaborators can be independently reproduced and fairly compared.
